What can you expect during the mold removal and remediation process?
Our team will begin by sealing off the infected area of your home with (6) mil plastic and use a negative air pressure containment system with air scrubbers to blow the contaminated air outside of your home; this system helps to isolate the work area and prevent the spread of contaminants to the unaffected areas of the home.
We will then start demolition and disposal of any building materials that are unfit for use in your home. Any materials that are safe for use will be thoroughly cleaned with an EPA registered antimicrobial/antifungal disinfectant fungicide to affected areas and treated afterwards. Some materials may not be safe to remove, and these will have a special protective barrier (EPA registered mold resistant paint to prevent the return of mold growth) applied to them to keep any spores contained safely. During this entire process, we will be using a state of the art HEPA air filtration system to keep old spores from spreading to other areas. Once we are finished, your home will then be ready for the final inspection.
